Ingredients
½cuphalf and half
1 ½cupschocolate chipsI used a combination of milk chocolate and semi sweet
2tablespoonsmarshmallow fluff
15whole marshmallows
Graham crackers for serving
Instructions
1. Add about 3—4 inches of water to the bottom of a medium sauce pan or pot. Bring to a slow boil.
2. Place a heat proof (I use metal) bowl on top of saucepan or pot so it nests or balances in the pot and doesn’t touch the water. (These steps can also be done in a double boiler if you have one.)
3. Add cream to bowl.
4. Once cream is warmed (about five minutes), gradually add the chocolate chips, about ½ cup at a time. Whisk consistently as you add the chocolate, waiting to add more chocolate until the chocolate has melted and smoothly incorporated into the cream.
5. Once all chocolate is added and melted, whisk until smooth
6. Add marshmallow fluff. Whisk until combined and smooth.
7. Remove from heat and pour melted chocolate mixture into an oven proof skillet or baking dish. Gently place marshmallows on top of chocolate in a circular pattern.
8. Preheat your oven to broil.
9. Place skillet or baking dish on upper oven rack under the broiler. Broil until marshmallows are browned, about 2-3 minutes. Keep a close watch on the marshmallows so they don’t burn.
10. Serve with graham crackers and fruit for dipping.
