Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil; set aside.
Trim the ends and any old outer leaves from the Brussels sprouts. Slice the sprouts in half lengthwise.
1½ pounds Brussels sprouts
Add the sprouts to the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with the olive oil and add the garlic and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to coat and spread into an even layer.
2 tablespoons olive oil, Generous pinch salt and pepper, 2-3 cloves garlic
Sprinkle diced bacon over sprouts.
4-6 slices uncooked bacon
Roast for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through and rotating the pan for even roasting.
If desired, toss the finished sprouts with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar before serving or drizzle with balsamic glaze.
