Turn three kinds of tomatoes, two kinds of cheese, and fresh basil into a stunning and delicious caprese salad platter. Serve alongside crusty bread and plenty of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and let guests create their own perfect caprese bites.
When plating the burrata, I recommend using a sharp paring knife to cut a sharp X into the top of the cheese. Gently pull the cheese apart at the cuts you just made, exposing the creamy center of the cheese, so that guests know it is different from the fresh mozzarella.
For the fresh mozzarella cheese, you can add the whole ball to the platter, cut it into slices, or opt for fresh mozzarella pearls.
